One case, several evidence checkpoints
A completed ASC case can still need an implant record, local charge review or owner assignment. Start with a nonidentifying case alias and record planned versus actual implant status, evidence location, review state, accountable role and follow-up date. The tracker is a coordination aid, not a device reimbursement rule.
Separate the statuses
A missing evidence reference differs from an incomplete charge review. Leave both visible so the next person knows what to verify in the authorized source system. Escalate an overdue review according to your own policy. Do not infer separate payment from the presence of an implant.
Run a short case review
- Choose the completed-case population and date window.
- Enter the checkpoint states from source-verified records.
- Review the Overview and open rows for missing owner or date.
- Document the next action and verify closure in the originating system.
Use fictional cases to train the workflow and protect patient information in exported spreadsheets.
